Catherine (Cathe) Hendrickson - CPA
Financial professional whose experience has been across at various levels of management within a diverse range of industries including health care, manufacturing, small business and tax consulting. She enjoys building relationships while working to understand their business and personal financial goals. Catherine graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She completed her CPA educational requirements at Metro University in Denver, Colorado Masters program. Currently holds an active CPA License from the State of Colorado and member of the AICPA.Before moving to South Carolina in 2020, Catherine spent 30 years in Colorado raising her three sons. She enjoys beach life, discovering new places and is an avid hockey fan.

Dale holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University. He has over 4 decades of experience in tax preparation for individuals and businesses. He is an Army veteran and the father of two. In his spare time he enjoys reading, watching classic movies and the beach.

Krystan is a mom of 3 who graduated from Strayer University in 2022 with an Associates degree in Accounting. She plans to go back to school for her Bachelors. In her spare time, Krystan enjoys camping, crafting and spending time with her family.

Anthony Tran - Intake Specialist/Accountant
Anthony Tran is an accounting student at the College of Charleston, expected to graduate this December. Anthony is excited to grow in his tax career with Hoods Tax & Accounting. He is an aspiring CPA and realtor and is also a father of three. In his free time, he enjoys playing pool, pickleball, and cooking.

Kim Baker - Office Manager
Born and raised in a rural area outside of Rochester New York. A graduate of Finger Lakes Community College and Dowling College. Retired from Fedex after thirty-six years in 2018, from driving a truck to administration. Married to Scott for over 34 years, five children and four grandsons. In her spare time she is usually found quilting at the sewing machine, gardening and traveling. Following two of her grandchildren and to escape the snow, she now calls Charleston home. She looks forward to meeting all new and current clients.

Brittany has been part of our tax office team since the 2021 tax season. As a mom of four, she understands the importance of organization, patience, and clear communication. You may have seen her at the front desk, but she primarily works behind the scenes to keep everything running efficiently. She enjoys supporting daily office operations and helping create a stress-free experience for both clients and the team. Known for her friendly personality and attention to detail, Brittany takes pride in being a reliable, familiar face throughout tax season.

Michelle Bryant Griffin brings a diverse background that blends business support with creative leadership. With more than 30 years of varied experience, she is known for her professionalism, clear communication, and attention to detail.
Shaped by more than 20 years as an Air Force spouse, she developed strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a steady approach to problem-solving, along with a deep respect for structure, confidentiality, and follow-through. Michelle’s experience as a business professional and notary has strengthened her ability to navigate sensitive situations with care and discretion. An accomplished entrepreneur and creative professional, she understands timelines, expectations, and the importance of trust. Michelle has lived in or visited all 50 states and moved to the Charleston area in 2012. She lives in Goose Creek with her husband and enjoys nature, reading, and creative pursuits. |

20 years after high school graduation, I went back to school and earned an Associate's degree in Secretarial Science. Yes, 2 years of shorthand to get that degree.
With 30 years experience in the corporate world, it seems that I was always involved with numbers. October 4th we became proud great grandparents (Nonna and Pap) to a beautiful baby girl. While I love living in the Lowcountry, we don't see our beautiful Nevaeh as much as we would like. This time last year our family welcomed another addition, our deputy sheriff granddaughter married a former Marine. |

She became a naturalized citizen in 2024, and lives with her husband of 12 years in Moncks Corner.
